Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application "NowStudy High School Social Studies" ("App") provided by crelve ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 1. Application

These Terms apply to all relationships between us and users regarding the use of the App.

Article 2. Service Description

This App is an educational application providing quiz-based learning for Japanese high school social studies subjects, including:

• Geography (High School Geography)
• World History (High School World History)
• Japanese History (High School Japanese History)

The content is designed for educational purposes and should be used as a supplementary learning tool.

Article 3. Registration

To use the App, you must agree to these Terms. Some features may be available without account registration, while premium features require a subscription.

Article 4. Account Management

You are responsible for properly managing your account information. You may not transfer or lend your account information to any third party under any circumstances.

Article 5. Prohibited Activities

You shall not engage in any of the following activities when using the App:

1. Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
2. Activities related to criminal acts
3. Activities that infringe on intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of us or third parties
4. Activities that destroy or interfere with our servers or network functions
5. Activities that may interfere with the operation of the App
6. Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
7. Collecting or accumulating personal information about other users
8. Impersonating other users
9. Reproducing, distributing, or commercially using the educational content without permission
10. Activities that directly or indirectly provide benefits to antisocial forces in connection with the App
11. Other activities we deem inappropriate

Article 6. Suspension of Service

We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the App without prior notice if we determine that any of the following circumstances exist:

1. When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates to the computer system for the App
2. When it becomes difficult to provide the App due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
3. When computers or communication lines are stopped due to an accident
4. When we otherwise determine it is difficult to provide the App

Article 7. Usage Restrictions and Deregistration

We may restrict all or part of your use of the App or deregister your account without prior notice if you fall under any of the following:

1. If you violate any provision of these Terms
2. If it is discovered that there are false facts in your registered information
3. If we otherwise determine your use of the App to be inappropriate

Article 8. Paid Services (Premium Subscription)

Some features of the App are provided as paid services through a premium subscription.

1. The fees for paid services shall be the amounts displayed in the App or on the respective app store.
2. Payment shall be made through the payment system of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds are subject to each store's policies.
5. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings.

Article 9. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising services (Google AdMob). Premium subscribers can enjoy an ad-free experience.

Article 10. Disclaimer

We do not expressly or impliedly warrant that the App is free from defects in fact or law (including but not limited to defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights).

We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the App, except in cases of our intentional or gross negligence.

Educational Content Disclaimer: The educational content provided in this App is for learning assistance purposes only. We do not guarantee that the content is completely accurate or up-to-date with current examination standards. Users should verify important information with official textbooks and educational materials.

Article 11. Changes to Service Content

We may change, add, or discontinue the content of the App with prior notice to users, and users agree to this.

Article 12. Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms without notice when we deem it necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect from the time they are posted in the App.

Article 13. Handling of Personal Information

Personal information obtained through the use of the App shall be handled appropriately in accordance with our "Privacy Policy."

Article 14. Notices and Communications

Notices or communications between users and us shall be made by the method specified by us.

Article 15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute regarding the App, the courts having jurisdiction over our head office location shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
